The ASAP has created the Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention Committee after passionate parents in Pasco County decided it was time to make a difference to stop the abuse and misuse of prescription pills in our community.

Prescription Drug Drop Off Locations:

Community members can drop off unused or expired prescriptions and veterinary medications for safe disposal at the following Locations:

Dade City Police Department
38042 Pasco Avenue, Dade City, FL 24 hours/day 7 days/week. 

Pasco Sheriff's District Headquarters:
Pasco Sheriff's West Operations Center 7432 Little Road New Port Richey, FL
Pasco Sheriff's Office 11530 Trinity Blvd. Trinity, FL
Pasco Sheriff's Office 36409 State Road 52 Dade City, FL

 

Accepted items include prescriptions, over the counter medications, vitamins, samples, veterinary medications, ointments, lotions, and liquid medication in glass or leak proof containers.  Items NOT accepted include needles (Sharps), thermometers, bloody or infectious waste, medication from businesses or clinics, and hydrogen peroxide.
